I am going to hell

I went to a brunch this morning and was debating with some of my fundamentalist co-workers about evolution/Intelligent Design. When at the suggestion of an LPSG member I brought up the argument involving the role of sex in evolution and told him how much I enjoyed all forms of it without intent to procreate, he calmy told me, "You have some redeeming qualities, John, but you're going to hell. I will pray for you." He was serious; I was dumbfounded.

I wish I could report that I had a witty retort, but I was so taken aback that I just walked away. It was the first time I had ever been told literally to go to hell.

Just thought I'd share this in case you did not know you are in the presence of evil. John
