anyone else remember where they have the audacity to put 999K clicks for some extremely COMMON video that can be found literally anywhere? also the reason why they changed the tactic was mostly because people get fed up and search another 
website instead.

That is exactly how they earn their revenue, through clicking of ad banners so that each click will generate some cash for them.
Opening the site isn't enough - it is the actual click-thru rate to those advertisers that will generate the income they need. Not necessarily a scam but it is the price that one pays to access pirated content.
The real question, especially for the thirsty people on this forum is whether you'd support the creators directly by purchasing the works on the official studio sites OR you'll just watch it from a pirated website and that's it.
Don't get me wrong - I do like my freebie every now and then - but if there is something that I truly genuinely like, I'll buy it so that the money can actually go to the creator and perhaps encourage them to go a little longer in their JGV phase.
