I think they have a thing for flicking Kit's rear... sorry, I meant ear. Joe Quinn did it to him in one of the interviews and Kit went crazy falling off his chair. Evidently, Kit doesn't like his ear diddled. I think that's why he grabs their hands. To stop them from touching his ear.

A bit off topic, but hair in general comes from the mother's side. Like me, I have the exact hair that my papaw had. Exact same hair line, color, texture, everything.

but it seems that the hair gene comes from the x chromosome, which is the one from the mom, and so it leads to people assuming that if the x chromosome is responsible for your hair color, texture, etc, then it might also be the cause for baldness, therefore the assumption came about that baldness came from the mother's genetics. but the truth is that apparently both parents need to have the genetics to cause baldness. if the mom's side of the family has no balding men but the dad's does, then there's still a likelihood that the son will be balding

I mean, my mother’s father had thick hair until the day he died. I’ve always had thin hair and it’s hanging on for dear life. My dad is bald and both his brothers also have thick hair. Personal anecdotes don’t make science, unfortunately.
