It's not generic, it's just a very grim, well-made real time war movie with copious realistic gore and shellshock for much of the second half. It's well-reviewed, but it's not exactly Saltburn (a much more superficial but fun film) in terms of viral content.

I’m saying it *appears* generic at a glance. Hollywood pumps out a dozen war movies a year, and there’s nothing about it to immediately distinguish it from the others if one isn’t inclined to look closer. I’m talking about the trailer s and marketing, not the actual film.
Yeah, I just don't think alot of young people, especially Kit's fanbase, are bothered with war films.
Given that most people are worried that WWIII is going to kick off and half the world is in the financial crapper, I think they go to the cinema to escape, not to spend 2 hours and £20 watching attractive young guys get their legs blown off and scream and cry.
Also for those of us old enough to remember the war in Iraq, we don't need to relive it because it's an absolute stain on our history that we were all sick of while it was happening.

Is also hard to compete against Sinners. Michael B Jordan in a double role and Hailee Steinfeld are enough eyecandy for many people (queer and straight) than literally all the cast from Warfare that, excluding Noah Centineo and Charles Melton, didn't exist for the general worldwide audiences before the pandemic.
PS: And Sinners had several sex scenes.
Sinners is going to be a monster. Warfare is a solid film IMO and well done but its audience is not staying away bc kids on Twitter or Tumblr are claiming it's 'pro-war' or anything. It's just a grim experience to watch and Sinners, Minecraft, etc. will blow it off the screen in terms of audience numbers. It's also not nearly as action-heavy as Sinners or other more superficial war movies. It's all about tension, shocking violence and as others have said, a lot of Joseph Quinn screaming while his limbs are in literal shreds.

i think kit is trying not to be typecast. so he’s diversifying his roles
100% this.
However not all of them will have the same rabid devotion as some of his previous roles.
I've watched everything he was in and I really have no interest in this one, and for example Little Joe was unbelievably dull.
He's so hot in Warfare. I just wanna eat, finger, smell and long stroke his asshole. I just know it's the lightest shade of bubblegum pink with red hair all around it. I also know his boxers smell really manly, especially when they're sweaty right after his workouts. I just wanna take a big whiff of his boxers, particularly the spot where his hole was. The sweatier and muskier it is, the better. Kit, if you're reading this, pls let me play with your asshole. Even one minute will do

So... Kit's next project was just announced and he's getting an Executive Producer credit for the leaf movie instead of another season of the leaf show. The book version starts on Kit's characters 18th birthday. So we might actually get to post some of the shots of him. But not of Joe's character. It'll be a mess on the forum.....

That's good. It means you missed some of the drama. Don't worry. There'll be more. Mentioning the show by name, at one time, was a good way to get your post reported and cause enough drama do get a thread closed. So, some of us just don't say the name.I know I'm really far behind and probably a stupid question but why is everyone calling it The Leaf show ?

Same thing I thought immediately. They did start cussing and stuff in the newest season, so who knows...

Kit... we need an HQ pit shot of you. Preferably shirtless with your full grown out chest pelt... pretty please. Even better of it includes a hint of pubes.

I mean it's a possibility, since in the books they're characters are more hornier and aren't afraid of having sex anymore
No, she still dumbs it down as much as possible
it's very much the middle aged lesbians view of teenage boys sexual desires
Film adaptations of popular drama and comedy series have a mixed track record, to say the least. I'm still recovering from the 'Are You Being Served?' movie of 1977. Let's hope Kit's involvement creates something creditable.
It won't be like a movie, it'll be like one long episode.
It'll be the same as the last 2 series, all the labels will be shoe-horned in, most of the acting will be dreadful, there'll be a "fuck" thrown in to make it feel mature, maybe some nipple or some upper butt to make it feel like there's sex.
If her recent comics are what make up the final book, then it's going to be embarrassingly bad (seriously go on Tumblr and read it, it's so awful).
But, contrary to my criticism, I'm glad they get to tie it up and move on rather than it just being cancelled without an end and people moaning for years to come "when will we get Season 4 news?"... I'm also glad there won't be a Season 4, because for most of the casts sake, it's time for everyone to move on. Sure, alot of the cast will never find work again, but for Kit, Joe, Jenny, Will and Yasmin this must have been like a millstone hanging round their necks since Season 3 came and went.

Unfortunately my country didn't bring in Warfare movie..
Is this some sort of propaganda movie?
Is this some sort of propaganda movie?
Depends on your country. It's a story of the Iraq War. around the time of the Battle of Ramadi.
A lot of those type of war movies are some form of propaganda. Show the cool/family parts of the war and ignore the fact that the Iraq War was built on a lie from the Bush administration
