Dunno why folks make smart comments about drugs bought in Mexico. .

not drugs, steroids.

in southern ca it's common knowlege that all you have do to get your hands on performance enhancers is a short trip across the border. they don't ask questions and everything is legal.

Did you actually see those shirtless pictures of Johnston? He couldn't have looked more lean and trim, yet the idea that someone would actually call him out for his "baby fat" and dismiss him as "soft" shows how ridiculously skewed our attitudes are now about weight.

It's this uniquely (although not exclusively) gay obsession with total perfection that I find so obnoxious.

And why shouldn't we celebrate "average" guys? Why should we condemn someone with an ounce of extra body fat as being unworthy of a Playgirl spread? I just find that attitude so nonsensical and destructive. (And, yes, fascist.)

ok i wasn't going to even respond to this but even though u might get away with calling me an obnoxious fascist once, I can't let 2x slide.

Hells got it perfectly right when he said this:

It's not body fascism. Playgirl is known for the types of guys the present and they are not 'soft' guys.

when u sign up to do playgirl, and milk the press for 3 mos while you're trying to decide how much to show, YES, YOU ARE GOING TO BE HELD TO A HIGHER STANDARD. and average isnt' celebrated anywhere in anything.

oh yeah, and i got news for you, gay guys are way more empathetic when it comes to critiquing a dudes body than any 14-30 yo str8 female would be. I'm not sure why you think gays are haters. some are, yeah but if you bothered to read and comprehend the rest of my posts on this thread you'd know where i really stand on Levi, instead of taking one post out of context.

maybe when you stop being "unsure" of your own sexuality the scales will fall from your eyes.

And Levi must understand this very clearly himself, and accept it ... since he's doing the work.
And fascism is a ticklish term that should be used carefully.

Last thing I want is perfection mate, perfect looking guys are so f**king boring typically, and at least a little fat gives me something to tease ;)

No I hadn't seen the pics and didn't claim to. I was commenting on other posts and what my thot about the Playgirl site is all about. You don't need me to say it just look at their archives.
I don't mind a regular guy and I'd love to find a regular, caring, honest and even soft guy. No I don't want a fat guy. Sorry that's just me. My thot is if you can let yourself get that big and not care then you prob don't care alot about other important stuff..but that's just me. Trust me alot of my friends are soft/fat and that's fine, it's their decision. I have no obsession w/gay perfection. That to me smacks of twink and I'd rather date Ernest Borgnine than a twink.
We SHOULD celebrate average guys and there are sites for them. And devoted to them. This thread was about Levi and then 100 guys came in and gave their various opinions. It's called a discussion board for a reason. And I appreciate your opinion and even agree with it but the simple fact is that this was a discussion about ONE guy posing for ONE website. You've got to understand people are going to have varying opinions on it and I'm glad you added yours.
The fact remains tho that MUCH press has been made about the fact that he has been working out because HE...LEVI wanted to get into shape foir this photo shoot. Maybe he has his OWN SOFT issues and doesn't want to be seen in print that way, or maybe he wants to show THAT family he can do things on his own and progress. And by the way as much as there's nothing wrong with an average guy there's also nothing wrong with a guy that does want to get in shape for whatever reason.
as I've said in other threads Long Live The Bigest Loser!

I know that this will probably come across as a dumb question, but I thought that Playgirl had gone out of business. Is this an on-line version?

It's still not clear to me, either. But I'm surmising that these will indeed come out in some sort of print issue even though Playgirl has become an online-only venture.

and I saw Levi last night at the West Hollywood Halloween festival walking along Santa Monica Blvd with a big burly body guard. He's cute, no doubt about that. After seeing him in person last night, I want to see the pics in Playgirl.

This whole thing is so 'friggin funny....What a weird-way to 'get-back-at' Palin. I mean, REALLY! "I'll pose, naked, front/back, hard/soft...", and that'll show Her! (or baby-momma, or, uh, or, ,,)

I don't get the point. Cute man, but, honestly: He's only someone 'cuz of the way Life has been....That said, if he has a HUGE dick: Run for Office! If he has a small dick: Get a Job- Good Luck to you. . . fire some people giving you advice, and DO something you love. Weirdness, and, on him, so many feed it.

"I can see Levi from my house!!!!" ROFLMAO Peace, All
