Well there was never a mainstream. It was released only in Italy.
Nobody else bought the rights for global distribution.
It was a mistake for Amazon not to release it internationally, but that was the deal made for season 2.

He is right. Seriously, if you don't have media literacy, DON'T watch the show. Plenty of dumb Gen Z kids will root for Mussolini due to the way the show portrays him talking to the camera

Yup. I mean he is portrayed a flip-flopping idiot that tries to be a gangster but uses worst people than him for that.
However, as I said, in an era where plenty young kids believe Patrick Bateman is a role model, I really think some will side with Mussolini due to the how House of Card talking to the camera vibes he gives.
