I think it is rather grownup of NPH not to feel the need to have a "hot" boyfriend. I think his partner seems rather nice.

Back in my youth (grin) my husband was considered rather plain by friends, I just smiled knowingly as they dated well muscled, fuck de jours, all hotties, and all bankrupt morally and financially. With rare exception, the hotties brought them nothing but grief. My hubby wasn't rich or sexy in a flashy way, but rather plain, salt of the earth type. He never missed a day of work, was rock steady in our relationship, and never forgot a friend or loved one in need. We had 10 good years before he passed, and you could not get me to trade one day of that for a vapid, muscle bound loser, not even one night.

Sorry, that brought back memories. Don't judge a book by the cover, read the whole story first.
 
what are people talking about, his boyfriend is not bad looking at all. of course he's no brad pitt, but brad pitt is taken.... and, presumably, straight. NPH is obviously in a relationship with this guy because he can't do "better"... by this i mean that his boyfriend is the "better" one. that's why you choose to be in relationships with certain people, because they are "better" than other people; everyone's definition of "better" is personal and unique.
 
I saw NPH nude in a play called The Paris Letter here in LA a few years ago before he came out. He made out in a couple scenes with Ron Rifkin and his future "Mother" co-star Josh Radnor. He and Radnor appeared nude in a scene together. Both had fit bodies. Radnor quickly got dressed, but the scene went on with Harris fully nude for another 2 minutes. I heard a few woman talking excitedly after the show about how they loved seeing "Dr. Doogie" naked.
