I remember I had this bad boy as a kid:

And it was amazing! Cartoon with action figures isn't all bad after all!

I'm just gonna leave this here...

I had to look that up to check original publishing date. I don't remember that at all as a kid, though we certainly had it for my kids. Turns out it was published in '92. No excuse for me to not know it, though I suppose I was maybe a little too old for it when it initially released.

Oh really? I dunno... They keep messing with my 80s treasures...

I hear you there. They are remaking Thundercats too but it looks like a fucking train wreak.

I watched some of that thinking “It can’t be THAT bad can it?”. Jeeez was I wrong!
The original was quite dark, had some great humour and an inappropriately sexy Cheetarah! That version seems to have none of the good stuff!

Especially at 3.15 when they huddle around the stove.

The original was awful. The cartoon bored me, but I loved running around shouting "thunder thunder, thunder thunder CATS!". Repeatedly.

My mother used Prell shampoo. I still remember the color; it was so bright green. And the smell. So unique.

I remember this television ad from 1960 like it was yesterday. I was fascinated when the pearl was dropped in the Prell and watched and watched each time like it was important. Back then, I guess it was.

When I was young, I went on a lot of family camping trips. The sleeping bags we had were used so much for those trips that they always smelled of wood smoke from the campfires. When I smell natural/firewood burning now, many years later, it still makes me think of back then.
