A toy line, or some kind of product line, is almost always the purpose of an American cartoon. Animation is fairly expensive and those toy lines are what keep the shows going.

If you can find it, I highly recommend checking it out. Cheesy as hell, but I fucking LOVED it so much! It's futuristic but prehistoric at the same time... Such cool monsters and stuff.

It's a classic!
