I'll go if I'm in town. It would be nice if some new people tried to make it. It's always the same old people... don't get me wrong I like the same old people but seriously last time there were three people from Florida that managed to show and a few people from NY said it was inconvenient. (As I recall I flew in from Hawaii because I wanted to meet Bbucko) It's a nice time but if it's not for you then you are free to leave. "What good is sitting alone in your room? In the M&G, most people who did attend were male. But if I recall, we've also had a number of straight men attend as well. The M&G was never intended to be a sexual thing in any shape or form. It was exactly what it was supposed to be; a chance to meet people on LPSG and talk over great food & drink. What happens afterwards, of course, is entirely up to you. If you wind up hooking up then more power to you.

lislndr - One of the M&Gs did have a few women attend, and I think after dinner we all decided to go to a leather bar just for kicks.

Well let's get this moving forward. A date? A place? The weekend of August 26 I will be in Boston so let's scratch that Friday or Saturday out. So my suggestion is No Idea Bar 30 E 20th St (between Broadway & S Park Ave). I have never been but missed a couple of gatherings held here. It's a dive bar, drinks are cheap and you can order food since they don't serve any. Also if there is a big enough group they have rooms in the back.

I beg to differ. Hugely. I can't tell you how many fantastic people I've met at the NY Meet and Greets (and London, and Fort Lauderdale), some of whom are among my closest friends. You ought to come to the next one and see for yourself.
