Windows is gone, I'm free of the tyranny that is Microsoft and WGA. My OS and applications are free and if the power of Linux isn't a real threat to MS and Apple, take a look at these links:

The world is getting tired of funding mansions on Puget Sound for tools that still require labor intensive development. If all ou need to do is play movies, surf the net, listen to music, look at digital pictures, Linux does this and significantly more for free.

You have to upgrade the version you currently have, or completely uninstall it, reboot and install the new one, otherwise conflicts and dlls won't load right and it'll be, well, fucked up. I suggest backup the data and your personal files and reload the Sony rescue disk. Windows and even OS X needs to be shutdown and rebooted whenever something new goes on it. It's a pain, but necessary. If you get sound at all, with integrated sound, it either works or it doesn't and chances are with the motherboard, the whole thing doesn't work for very long. You can alwyas reload Windows Media Player too. But since this is this far and not knowing what's happened to it over the last 10 months, a clean install isn't a bad idea.

lol 1) You're talking computers, 2) Her first language isn't English.

You're speaking Greek. Keep things simple.

Worry when you start speaking in Binary! :)
ATM, my mind seems to be soo crowded with Binary/Hexidecimal/Octaganal/Denary.... I seem to be working maths out in those number bases..
.. oh, then I got logic gates to learn, then programming basic.

Pass us the coffee please?
