Yeah, Cameo’s kinda hit or miss. I don’t overexplain much when requesting either. I figure most people either get it or just think it’s a funny niche ask lol.

“Hey! Loved you in this show/movie. What was your experience filming it? Would you mind answering with your bare feet in frame? Thanks!”

I actually got a legit actor from a show I like to agree! I think he knew what was up, but thought it was funny lol. Super chill dude — made me like him even more, honestly.

Then I tried an Aussie actor who’s been in some big Hollywood stuff; he said no but told me he admired my courage for asking LMAO.

Lastly, I tried this college athlete/influencer type who’s super flirty — not full-on queerbaiter, but adjacent I guess? He rejected my Cameo too, but was nice about it lol.

Interesting! I agree. It's nice that you kept the request simple and sort of honest with your intention. I always felt like there needs to be a story to convince them to do such "revealing" videos instead of just delivering a message to a fan

I've tried requesting a few people and only succeeded once. The others just didn't even respond at all.
