If you are talking about Apocolypse, I'm still not sure if he is a mutant or if he got his powers from the Celestials and their ship that he found.

Remember, when namor had his series in the 90's, it said right on the front cover Namor, Marvel's first mutant. Obviously, that's not the case unless you look at it from a publication date not a Marvel History perspective.

As I said earlier, Selene is from the time of Red Sonja/Conan the Barbarian, which predates the Egyptian empire.

We know this to be true from a couple different references:

1) Marvel Team up with Spiderman and Red Sonja when they fought together against Kulan Ganth. The fact that Kulan Ganth thought they were still living in Hyperboria because of the musem they were fighting helps to establish the time line.

2) The X-Men storyline in which Kulan Ganth takes over Manhatten Island and captures Selene and makes comments about them having fought in the past. Plus, Kulan Ganth remakes modern day Manhatten into Hyperboria, his own time.

3) It's been generally established that the entire Conan/Red Sonja stories have always taken place before the rise of current history, so the Greeks, Egyptians, Chinese histories have all taken place after that time frame.

This also grants him any sort of physical superhuman power, such as unlimited strength and stamina (not in the sack, you pre-verts!). Although, it could be that his powers have grown over the years and that, combined with the Celestials' ship, is the reason his mutation is so much more powerful than the others' despite their having 5000 more years of ambient radiation exposure.
Also, as aforementioned, he's the second oldest. Selene is the oldest, stating that she was already considered "old" by human age upon the coming of man.

I know this probably more properly belongs in the "celebrity endowment" thread, but has anyone heard the...uh..."rumors" about Brandon Routh's (the latest Superman on film) package?
