Title: “Crimson Shadows”

The midday sun gleamed off the polished chrome of Metropolis’ luxury cars, but all eyes were on the man in red and blue. Superman stood defiantly between two limousines, his cape billowing with regal weight. The S on his chest shimmered like fire.

But he felt it.

A pulse. Faint at first, like a heartbeat not his own.

Lex Luthor stepped from the shadows of the alleyway, dressed in a dark tailored suit that caught the sunlight with a predator's sheen. In his gloved hand, a shard of glowing green kryptonite pulsed with eerie life. Superman’s knees buckled slightly.

"Feeling weak already?" Lex's voice was silk and static.

Superman clenched his fists, muscles taut beneath the skin-tight suit. He tried to lift his head, but the kryptonite’s radiation was seeping into his bones, turning his strength to water. Lex approached slowly, savoring every step.

"You always thought your power made you untouchable," Lex whispered, now inches from the hero’s chest. "But you're so... beautifully vulnerable like this."

Superman grunted, teeth gritted, eyes narrowed in resistance—but his body betrayed him. His breath grew shallow. Lex stepped closer, brushing his fingers over the curve of the red “S.” The hero’s chest heaved at the contact.

"You're not just a symbol," Lex said, voice low. "You're flesh. Heat. Need."

Superman fell to one knee, panting, his cape pooling around him like spilled wine. Lex knelt beside him, his kryptonite pendant swinging close to the hollow of Superman’s throat.

"Say it," Lex whispered. "Admit you're mine now."

Superman looked up, pupils dilated, not in fear—but something deeper, something unwelcome.

"I won’t..." he growled, barely able to lift his voice.

But Lex only smiled.

"You already have."
