I have only used it once to block a person from communicating with me or reading his thread replies.
I don't use it in chat. Normally, if I'm asked something that I don't like (titty comments on my veri pic constantly or "am I bigger than your husband"), or I'm being harassed by someone who is pissed I won't let them see my private albums or talk dirty to them, I just don't reply to their whispers and close their cam. I now only watch cams of people I am familiar with.
It would be beneficial to the chat room in general if there was a "report" button we could click for all the spammers. They don't contribute anything in there.

You bet I use it. There are some real jerks on this site, mostly seem to be jealous or maybe even homophobic. It seems 99% of this site is great, but you can get that 1% of idiots who flame you or have a smart ass comment. I'm glad there is a choice to do this.
I've only blocked two people (men) here. They were both obnoxious, rude and sometimes quite threatening. Both insisted on flooding my PM inbox with uninvited sexual drivel.
