thanks god all the swimmers are not wearing those stupid suits. And its does not seem like its all that beneficial. Korean Park was not wearing one and he beat everyone that was wearing one. And it makes them look like women participants.

Well, all I can say is the Olympics are a celebration of bulge, bulge, bulge! Gymnastics, check! Diving, check! Swimming, check! I want see Bob Costa's bulge, check!!!!!!!!!

Wrestling check --- cycling, check --- rowing, check; track & field, check! (and I wouldn't also mind seeing Bob Costa's bulge!!) I hope you all feel free to post pics here (I still haven't figured how to download yet!!)

Anyone else see Phelps win his first Gold, what the hell did they do to the national anthem, I don't think they could have screwed it up anymore. I know they can't play the entire thing by please, they could have edited it a bit better then that. It was so outrageous even Phelps seemed to laugh about it at the end.

I heard a report that said the pool was designed to be faster; 3 feet deeper, lanes are wider, dividers are supposed to absorb the waves, extra outer lanes, and water troths are flush with grate covers. The controlled temperature, wind and lighting supposedly also help the swimmers and divers focus, by not fluctuating like at outdoor pools.

There are so many events and athletes I'm looking forward to seeing. I"'m glad the cute little Raj Bhavsar is competing in gymnastics. Always liked him.

The US team seems to have a lot of hot cuties.....
Artemev and Horton also come to mind...

It is a shame that the Hamm twins will not be there. I
am sure the US had high hope for them and it must be
a great disappointment for both the twins to have to
drop out at the last minute.

I also think the Chinese gymnasts Yang and Chen will
nice to watch....

Actually, the the gymnasts from all countries are nice
to look at this time.
