i was circumsized when i was 20 years old. I would not recommend anyone to get cut, nor would I circumsize my male children if i had any. However, I prefer to be cut. The biggest downside to being cut is masturbation isn't as good as it was when i was uncut. I'm not sure, because i never actually had sex before I was cut, but i'm thinking sex probably isnt as good either. But that's not that big of a deal to me because i have a huge sex drive, and i dont have any problems getting or keeping a hardon. Nor is sex any less enjoyable for me. It's just that my penis is slightly less sensative - which is a downside.

There are serious risks in getting circumsized though. Some men have too much skin cut off, and then are very uncomfortable having sex or masturbating. The surgeon could botch it. so it's really not worth the risk.

Hi Guys..
Need some advice. I'm an uncut Aussie.
My wife has revealed she prefers circumcised cocks and most of my mates are circ'd.
So I'm thinking about taking the plunge... Pros and cons please.
Anyone been cut as an adult? What style etc. Thanks.

Hi I really do not think you should do this. I think your wife knew exactly what you looked like before you were married and she should not ask you to get cut. Now if your doctor told you to do this for a medical reason then I would say do it to save your health. But to cut yourself just because the spouse prefers it is crazy talk. How long have you been married and how old are you? I am from the USA and I would say 60% maybe more of men here are cut. I think if you had no complaints before you were married then you should not do this. I am sure this has to be painful? Good luck this is a great site to ask questions on welcome. Let all of us know what you decide to do.

Hey, there's male circumcision and female circumcion right? Ask the doctor if he'll give you a discount for two at the same time. And then ask your wife if she'll agree to getting her's cut along with yours. After all, it's only fair.

This sounds like a workable solution. I'm SURE that she'll be all over it.

I'm cut and have always wondered what it would be like to have the foreskin there. I think it looks cool and I think it would offer a little more friction. If you have always dreamed about being cut, go for it, but if this really isn't your idea, I'd keep the thing!

I'm not cut and would have it done only if medically necessary. You can never replace a foreskin. Nuf said. Now, sad to say I have to be cut for medical reasons (cannot retract foreskin any more. In fact it is getting tighter every day) I'm not looking forward to having it done in a couple of weeks.

Man, I'm so sorry. Isn't there any other way? I have a friend who is restoring through stretching the foreskin. Is that an option? Phimosis is a terrible thing and I'm so sorry you have it. Forgive me if I'm asking dumb questions.

Thank you all for your feedback and advice..

Lots of pros and cons.... you all made really good points

I've talked it over with my wife... and have decided to remain uncut.

I was cut as an adult. I LOVE it...
However, I would not get a circumcision or any body modification because someone else wants me to. Youre only asking for regret. These kinds of things you really should want to do...

Good decision. It sounds like you have your wife on board with your decision. That is great.

Good luck.

Not to mention the many harmful side effects that could go wrong. I personally feel your wife is pretty shallow and self-centered to even ask that of you.

If a famous man asked his wife to get a boob job because he liked bigger boobs and she was disgusted by it and went public, every feminist group would bash this guy, and rightfully so.

So why the double standard with women expecting men to do this?

You can fix that without surgery.
The underlying cause is almost certainly a yeast infection. It causes tiny scars, which. over time, cause the penis to loose its elasticity. Cure the yeast infection, and then you can stretch to recover the movement you have lost. All it takes is anything over the counter, for womens' yeast. It should work as well for you.

This may help. It's helped hundreds or thousands of others. Do yourself a favor. Cancel the surgery, and give this a try. If it's still tight in two months, opt for the surgery.

You may be right but then again if this was something that was bothering her by asking it brought the issue into the open. It was researched and now they both agree that intact is better. Perhaps her approach wasn't the best but most likely due to ignorance on the topic. Hopefully, they both have much better insight into this topic and enjoy intact sex even more. It is quite likely that their relationship has been strengthened by this.

And its not helped hundreds of thousands that ultimately had to get cut...

If you have one of those ugly foreskins which hangs down over the glans, then I would consider the surgery more seriously. If the foreskin is just over the glans and retracts with erection, you already have an ideal cock.

I beg your pardon. Who died and made you the judge of the beauty or ugliness of a penis? Millions of generations of females have voted with their vaginas, or those foreskins which hang down over the glans would not exist. They do, hence they are attractive to the opposite sex. Otherwise, they would have died out.
Suggesting that someone else have cosmetic surgery to fit your misshapen ideal of aesthetics is more than a little bit whacked.
You have nerve commenting negatively on someone else's genitals, or calling them ugly. Please, think before you write.

I was cut at age 44, almost 34 years ago for what was then deemed a medical must. I almost mourned over my lost skin! I did not really experience any severe loss of feeling or ability to fuck; but, masturbating became very difficult. The foreskin lubricates the glans and without it you have to use lubricant to avoid inflaming the edges of the glans.

I started perhaps 5 years ago to regrow my foreskin through jelquing. The progress was slow but it was encouraging to see it inching once again toward my glans. After several years of regrowing I am so pleased to have enough skin to cover my soft glans.

I would never have my new skin cut for almost any reason I can think of unless it were life threatening in some way! You see, foreskins can be stretched to make them less difficult during sex, etc; but they can not , as far as I know, be replaced quite that easily, mate!
