Perhaps I'm the outlier but most of the women that I've ever been with have hated condoms and prefer that I go in raw. I would say 85% of them didn't want the condom while the other 15% did and it was more so for pregnancy reasons than STDs.
With that said, I don't ever jump into any pussy without some kind of investigative conversations with whomever I'm going to have sex with. Aside from when I was young and stupid, I've always taken the time to try and talk to these women that I want to fuck and try to get a sense of where their head is as well as their standards. Keep in mind that while you are worried as fuck about STDs and such, so are the women that you want to fuck as well. If I wasn't able to have a sane and educated discussion about condoms, STDs, and pregnancy with a woman then there was no way in hell my dick was getting anywhere near her, period.
I don't know how to explain it but you learn to have a sixth sense that allows you to know whether a woman is genuine and careful about unprotected sex, as well as willing to work with you on what can or cannot happen during sex to make it fun and pleasurable for you both when protection is not being used. I've been with women whom were not on any birth control and we didn't use any condoms at all. We enjoyed the pleasures, never got lost in the "moment", and I always finished outside. I've even had a situation where she wanted to feel me cum inside her, was not on birth control, so I came in her ass (yeah, she was into anal).
The point is, be careful, be assertive, and be willing to walk away or say "no" even during the act. I've walked out on women when things went south. I can recall one time a woman I was fucking decided that she wanted me to unload inside her even though we both agreed that was a no-no because she wasn't on any birth control. She said it was okay because she tracks her cycles and we're in the "clear"... I stopped midway through the pump, pulled out, and had a serious conversation with her for the next 10 minutes before we started up again with me finishing in her mouth.
I'm not advocating or encouraging my approach however I am saying that if boundaries and expectations can be set and met then you should have a smaller chance of getting into unwanted trouble.
