Virginity?

hung: A real refreshing topic. I appreciate the frankness in this topic and the wisdom of the young people here. I take this opportunity as a mature and senior citizen to commend you all. I, way back when waited for the marriage bed to lose the virginity. What a day to remember. You see, I was smart enough to get married early in the day, right after noon and the honeymoon started at about 4:00 P.M. I still have very fond memories of that day. Additionally I never worried about any diseases and went into my marriage as one healthy male. As several pointed out:

"In my teens and early twenties I relied on: The Power of the Hand!!!!!!!

I was twenty six years young when I married. In closing, I salute you all for your choice and encourge you to remain virgins until marriage.

mekkler: I became a non-virgin 11-21-71 at the age of 15, I celebrate that day every year.

Still a virgin? don't worry about it, you have plenty of time. Virginity makes alot of sense especially now when sex can kill you.

aj2181: I lost my virginity when I was 12. Iwas told then that I had an unusually large cock. The whole experience was a real confidence booster for me.

ORCABOMBER: No offence, but who the fung would compliment you like that? I mean, most girls haven't seen one that young surely?

Unless I'm roaming into "underage" turf here. :-/

Yeah, underage turf. My english teacher was my first time. I can't say she really took advantage of me. I enjoyed it. She was probably in her late twenties- early thirties. I didn't look twelve anyway, I was 6'-3" tall.

ORCABOMBER: Well Aj, oh well, better be on the look out for any fit uni profs then! ;D

Is your teacher still teaching, I'd reckon if that was public knowledge, all shit must've broke loose surely?

aj2181: As far as I know shes still teaching. I didn't keep in touch with her. No one knows about it other than me my brothers and her. and all of you.

Finedessert: I will not say a word..........I've been known to tell little white lies though. :D

rayv: I was a virgin for a while because no one wanted to take in all of m dick.

Care to comment Rayv?

jaimie: I lost mine a few months ago (November). I don't have any regrets or anything, except my gf told everyone all the details. That pissed me off. Then we broke up, but we're friends again without the sex.

There are very few alternatives for those who wish to socialise but do not wish to be a part of this drinking culture. . . . [/quote]
Ann Landers, of happy memory, when presented with similar situations always recommended that her correspondent get involved with something that WASN'T aimed at singles as such.  Surely there aren't *that* few alternatives?

E.g., from media reports monitored here in the U.S., national politics is still going on in Ireland, and so, I assume, is local politics.  Surely not ALL the music goes on in bars and clubs?  Are there book discussion groups at your libraries or elsewhere?  Are you interested in volunteering for the homeless, those injured in the Late Unpleasantness (as U.S. Southerners used to call the Civil War/War between the States), kids, whoever or whatever?

If there are girls involved in whatever you're doing who sincerely share your sincere interest, you're immediately ahead.  And despite being (by your own estimate) nerdy, skinny, and shy, if you actually participate in the activity they're going to get to know you and--if they're worth it--see beyond that.

As for MY virginity, I don't know if I've got it or not.  I was recently amused to discover that there's a term for my condition:  "Thoroughbred"--a gay guy who's never had sex . . . with a female, that is.

i was bi for many years, so i had two virginities, i guess....
I lost my virginity with a girl, when i was 17,
and with a guy when i was 24.

My experience was somewhat like that.
I was 18 with a girl, and 21 with a man.

I also had a close friend (a boy) when I was
about 12, and we did a lot of somewhat
sexual playing, but we were both too
young to really cum so I don't think that
counts ...

hung: For Eric and others reading here

I think that all of us did the touching/feeling with members of the same sex in our tender youth.

Such exploration is normal and does not determine our final orientation. Still enjoying life.

I'd have to agree with that. Most kids just starting puberty do that kind of thing. It's more out of curiosity than it is out of actual sexuality.

jackinman: I lost mine at 22 to an older lady. She wasn't the cutest woman but I had alot of fun. I've jerked off other guys, never done the anal thing. I hate pain.

ORCABOMBER: Jackinman, I know the feeling...or maybe not literally! :-/

jackinman: Hey Orcabomber, all it took was for my doctor to shove his finger up my ass to check my prostate gland and that was enough pain for me. :'(
I don't even want to imagine anything bigger going in that hole.
