I’m starting this off by saying I am a gay man. I will never be Bisexual or Pansexual or Straight. This is just something I’ve observed particularly on this site. And also I’m not entirely sure if this is the place to post this but we slay.

As an enjoyer of men, there are many adult content creators that I follow and I see what they are up to on here. And so I’ve seen many threads of many creators some of these creators are not gay, some aren’t even queer. I just want to know why on earth does it matter? Why does it matter if one content creator has made more videos with women than men? Are y’all just sad that they don’t want to fuck you? This is a site for ADULTS yet yall act like children.

He has stated numerous times to be pansexual, yet in threads about him I’ve seen many people get so angry when he makes a video with women. Do y’all think he’s just lying to get views? Why that would be mildly annoying but there are far worse problems in the porn industry

There are a couple of different issues at play here.
1) Most of his subs are homosexuals who I guess don't want to see straight content. That being said, This isn't something to get angry or upset over though. Just ignore the content you don't like? simple.

I am bi myself and I even I prefer his gay content tbh, his scenes with women have been pretty boring so far.

2) There are very cynical people who think he is lying about his identity. In some cases this is a product of biphobia, homophobia and general ignorance, in others maybe just a very jaded over-reaction due to other creators who regularly lie about their sexuality/content to farm attention.

In general users on here are very melodramatic and make big deals out of inconsequential things that OF creators do.

I'm probably not the right person to reply to this thread since I heavily agree with you, and am equally confused by the people on here who are quite frankly obsessed with this topic and care a LOT about these sex workers personal lives, their private sex lives, their politics and so on. I don't get it at all. It just seems unnecessarily parasocial and invasive.

And yes plenty of people on here (despite being, I assume over the age of 18), seem to present behaviors more akin to teenagers or pre-teens. Very immature.

Honestly I'm glad to see other people saying this. I thought I was losing my mind the way some people have been yelling about "gold star gays" in porn as if the concept of a gold star gay isn't just a total BS social construct anyway.

There is an attitude here that there is only one way to be “not straight” and that is to be 100% homosexual. Some get incensed when male creators even look towards a woman. Personally I find it a distasteful way of treating people, but it’s accepted without pushback.

It all stems from biphobia, I’m not surprised it’s rampant on this site. The whole thing where you select if your X% gay or X% straight supports that very outdated mindset of bi people being 50% straight and 50%gay, allowing for biphobia to be much more normalized here. imo at least

I also think it’s weird when content creators are accused of “baiting gay people” bestie they were never going to fuck you.

I don’t believe the % choices influence bigoted viewpoints on the site. These people have to own their bigoted viewpoints as examples of how hateful they are despite what they claim.

I personally spiny use it since I think it's quite stupid. I just use pansexual as a shorthand for now. Until they make a plain bisexual tag.

It seems like such a weird thing to get so emotionally invested in. The adult industry has something for everyone. I don't understand why someone would get angry over content they don't like when something else is always available. Change the channel.

I’m not entirely educated on what pansexuality is, but from my guess is being attracted to more than one gender but the gender does not matter. That’s just my understanding of it though, so I advise you go and look for yourself

That's basically it. Pansexuality is basically just bisexuality+. To some it's mostly a redundant or pointless label since bisexuality can and does cover mostly the same ground already anyway
