Models are glorified hoes. Only gay men and teenage girls treat them as gods. Most of them will do anything for money and/or clout - so yes, photographers do occasionally sleep with their models.

I'm generally very quiet on here and would pay for a drama free environment. But I couldn't just let this comment fly since I haven't seen anyone here taking an issue with it and it's so mean spirited. So...

No, models are not glorified hoes. Generalizing is the first step in showing off an ignorant and limited perspective. Saying that "Most of them will do anything for money and/or clout" is just wrong because the modeling community is big and diverse, and throwing everyone in the same bunch is just ridiculous.

Modeling is a tough job that requires a lot of investment (a professionally shot book, constant hair and skincare, hours at the gym, endless casting calls, trips, moving to a big city, etc.) that may amount to nothing if a model doesn't ended up getting booked or a steady stream of gigs. It's good to keep in mind that not all new faces have agencies footing the bill at the beginning, and even the ones that do benefit from that will have later to pay back the initial investment. There's also all the sterotypes they must face on a daily basis and the prejudice. There are the predators, the people in power seeking to take advantage by demanding they attend parties to beautify their crowd of ugly business contacts and friends, the "be nice to such and such," and now also the demand for constant posts on social media to gather a huge number of followers or they won't get booked. Not to mention that male models have a harder time making money since the field is more oriented toward compensating well women (which is not wrong - it's perhaps the only business where women make more than men).

It's cynical to think it's an easy job. Besides all the constant prep that goes on, keeping up the energy, staying relaxed in front of the camera, and be able to deliver what the photographer is seeking during some interminable photo shoot can be more than challenging.

I've heard people say "oh wow, spending the days taking care of your body, wearing nice outfits, blah blah, I wish I had a hard job like that" and that just goes to show that we still live in a world where people see some professions as being more important and valuable than others. Modeling is not for everyone... just as being a top NFL player also isn't. It takes talent because not every beautiful person is also photogenic and good in front of a camera.

What strikes me as funny is that you make this comment on a thread where models are basically fully nude. If you have this little respect for them, perhaps you should go elsewhere.

Appreciate the well reasoned post bud. (that's rare around these parts)

It's not uncommon for the subjects of sexual desire to be also equally disparaged in quick succession in most of these threads. It's a bizarre phenomenon but it's not unique to this person unfortunately. Lol.

Do you guys think photographers have a boner when they shoot? How do they resist with guys so beautiful and naked inches away from them? do you think any of them sleep with the models between shoots?
Professional photographers professional. Additionally, the more skin we see, the less we become "numb" and don't act like 13 years olds going "tee hee" look at that gorgeous dong. NO!

Hanno has just been announced again. How many emails per model do they send?
My most recent email from them was a duplicate of the Benjamin Simeoni email, the same email as the day before. I only got one total about Hanno. Looking back, it seems like they randomly duplicate some of the emails.

The newer reviews are pleasant surprises. Like the fact that including Sasha's newer review, the new eds are brighter and more summery. Dani is definitely the reason I order again despite the initial complaints about the lack of variety. Hanno's new review is also quite good, hopefully there are more to come.
