Ask them for a refund cause these weren't the terms when you bought it

If they don't refund you take it up with your bank and dispute the charge. They are gonna get you back your money
Finally, someone wise! That’s probably the most sensible course of action. If you believe their new terms are unacceptable, and you can no longer use the service you paid for, just ask for a refund and explain your reasons.

If someone believes they have been treated unfairly, they should pursue a refund or consumer dispute. That’s a far more realistic path than talking about extortion, criminal complaints, or nonsense conspiracy theories.

how are they going to charge 150k to someone's credit card lol? that's way beyond my limit

Just to be clear, I am not advocating for anyone to steal or share their DRM content. But if anyone is stressing about Yummy's new T&Cs threatening a $150,000 USD charge just because they "believe" you shared something, don't panic. It is practically and legally unenforceable.

Standard credit cards do not have $150k limits. If a subscription site suddenly tried to push a six-figure charge, your bank's fraud department would flag and block it instantly. Even if they tried to run a smaller, unauthorised penalty charge, you would simply dispute it, cancel the card, and get a replacement.

A company cannot bypass the legal system just by writing a heavy-handed clause. That $150k figure mirrors maximum US statutory damages for copyright infringement. To actually collect that, they would have to take you to court and prove wilful infringement with hard evidence, like IP logs or user-specific watermarks on the leaked files.

In most developed countries, terms that let a business act as judge and jury based on their sole discretion are void as unfair contract terms.

I cancelled my subscription forever.

I would never share anything, but the terms of the contract seemed unfair and scary.

What if they leak my password? How can I have certainty that their digital watermark system is robust and I’m not going to be unfairly blamed?

Even if this is difficult to enforce, they can still legally harass you.

Ok, so I finally dug into the documents and I'm wondering if we're maybe seeing different ones depending on what country we're in? I'm in the US and most of what mine says is more or less what's always been in place. It explicitly says you need to use your legal name, that's the only thing that seems new to me. For people complaining about them asking for a passport, was that after you signed? I see that showcaseplatform.com, their host, uses id.me so maybe that triggers something after signing? Let's maybe try to shed some light on what people are actually seeing here. I know the notice calls it an NDA, but I've signed more than enough NDAs before and this barely counts. Everything it covers is already covered under copyright law of all WIPO treaty signatories (practically every country in the world).

That's not to say that I'm happy, nor will I likely sign or renew, but it would be nice to get some clarity on what we are seeing.

Also, now that there's legal stuff in the discussion, I guarantee there's no way Yummyzine will be commenting in this thread until it's all blown over and their lawyers say they can engage again. What a shitshow!

Oh, and for those who signed, did you get your coins after signing? Are they holding them hostage this month or did they just give up on them?

no man's nudes are worth the risk in my opinion, lmao

No coins this month?

Apologies, a technical issue meant that coins were not applied to subscriber accounts between the 25th May and the 2nd June. We are working to resolve this and all affected accounts will be credited with the $20 very soon.

Is it just me or did yummy plus just repost the Ian Calvo Gold Coast video that I previously paid for but have now lost from my purchased list and I’d now have to pay $60 again to get? Crazy. They really need to sort out their accounting systems on the website as how do I prove I bought it? Not good enough Yummy.
Doesn't their system email you a receipt/confirmation? Then there is always your credit card statement, which has a purchase date.

That's a reason more to doubt about your services and about the threatens you make to your innocent customers. If your technical system is not on point, your technical system can accuse anyone of having leaked content, while the concerned customer is innocent. Yummy faced a lot of technical problems in the past. It makes I've unsubscrid to your services, cause I do not want to be falsely / wrongly accused. Companies have the right to change their terms, but, there's a big but, this should be in line with national and international regulations and laws, which is not the case.

Instead of threating each of your past, current and new customers, you should only focus on clients who do not respect your material and take action against them.

Yummy Magazine should be fun, should be relaxing, a world without of sorrows, a world of escapism, which is not longer the case. Instead, Yummy created a world of stress, fear and bad feelings.

Thanks for your understanding.

Once again why is it no longer 25 coins?

Before i cancel my subscription, I’ll make my last purchase with my coins. Can anyone tell me if Jeremi Joubert’s and Luis Caparro’s videos are worth it? And if so, which video of them is the best?

please forgive my possibly dumb or repetitive question but, before i buy it, does the jake boffman issue of yummy magazine actually contain him doing frontal nudity or no?

Yummy works with a third-party technology provider that develops and maintains our platform infrastructure. As one of their largest clients, we have worked closely with them to continuously improve the security of the platform, particularly in response to multiple attempts to leak copyrighted content.

Our system is capable of monitoring and recording user activity within the platform, including attempts to circumvent video protections or interfere with security measures. In cases where content has been distributed outside the platform, those responsible have been identified through our security and forensic systems.

As part of a major security upgrade implemented by our technology partner, some users experienced delays in receiving their coins during the transition period. This was a temporary issue, and all affected users will receive the coins they are entitled to. The matter is currently being resolved.

The recent upgrades have significantly strengthened our anti-piracy and content protection systems. Alongside these technical improvements, the platform's Terms and Conditions have been updated to reflect the enhanced security framework and current operational requirements.

We want to be absolutely clear that we would never make false accusations against any user. Consumer protection regulations are very strict, and we take our responsibilities seriously. Our primary objective is to protect the work of our models, photographers, agencies, and all the talented individuals who contribute to the platform. Without effective protection of their intellectual property and rights, the platform would simply not be sustainable.

Beyond these security improvements, we are continuously investing in the development of the platform to enhance the overall user experience. Our goal is not only to protect the talent who make the platform possible, but also to ensure that the platform becomes increasingly intuitive, efficient, and engaging for our members.

We are constantly introducing improvements, refining existing features, and exploring new ways to make the experience more rewarding for our users. As the platform continues to grow, our commitment remains the same: to provide a secure, high-quality environment that benefits both our talent and our community.

We are extremely pleased with the work our developers have done and believe we now have one of the strongest security systems ever implemented on the platform.

It is also important to remember that Yummy has always been, first and foremost, a publishing company built around its printed products. Our beautiful books, magazines, calendars and collector's editions are, and will always remain, the heart of what we do. While we are proud of the growth and development of Yummy Plus, it is ultimately a complementary extension of our publishing business rather than its foundation. Even in the unlikely event that every single subscriber decided to leave the platform tomorrow, our core business would continue to be our printed publications, and they will remain our primary focus with or without Yummy Plus.

Thank you

I would like you to tell me how you are going to refund people who do not accept new terms. Because people paid for exclusive content.
