BBC Obsession?

I don't really have a BBC obsession myself. But at the same time I can see why it would appeal to some people. You would probably notice that the majority of people with this obsession would be Caucasian. One reason why it would appeal to me a bit is because... well to be honest I've never seen a man or woman of south African descent here in Ireland.

This probably sounds so friggin' odd to hear, but I really, really haven't. Being a country guy in the more "Red-Neck" part of Ireland it's just a rarity. So seeing a BBC, I think to myself "Wow, this is such a rare and different thing for me to see, and its rather large too!" on some level at least.

... Apart from that I just quite enjoy seeing large rods as it is XD

I think it's probably worse on the black males who aren't owners of BBC's (or men of other races with not as big, or black cocks).

Personally I don't mind as I haven't heard of anyone who has been with a "huge" (or even big) black cock. Anecodatally I mean.

Personally I think the obsession comes from:

White men feeling inferior/submissive due to having a small cock/stature or just not being black.

Black being different to white; ie noticeable and interracial sex having been (and sometimes still being) taboo.

I have heard on average black penises are only around a quarter of an inch longer in the erect stage, however in the flaccid stage they make many of us white dudes look like children. I have a black female friend who almost exclusively dated white guys and had much better luck landing larger ones than the black guys she dated, she pretty much believed the opposite of the myth to be true.

I'm not trying to argue that this is about race and I'm certainly not racist but one thing I've never understood is the obsession with 'BBC'. The idea that they're somehow better, bigger, more exciting etc. It's all rather objectifying as well with all the "my wife wants a bbc" posts out there.

To me, it's not the color of the cock that matters. All big cocks are exciting and great as are lot of the men attached to them. I've seen plenty of other big cocks of different races and I don't think it's a valid thing to say black men are the only ones with big cocks. Or that black men on average have bigger cocks. It's a porn myth. And I just feel like this whole BBC thing is a sick fetish I don't understand based on false information and objectifying ideation. A sort of 'stunt' cock if you will.

Why do black men even participate in this? They're being used as a piece of meat in this sort of fantasy and it's certainly degrading to them.

So, why the obsession with BBC?

I don't get it! Anyone else that doesn't?

i think eddie murphy sumed it up best....

Yes.

BBC is nothing but fantasy.
you mentioned Mandingo as an example of this BBC myth.
Well some white guys as Matt Hughes have a cock as big as Mandingo.

I have had cocks of both black and white that was the same sizes as in this link. And why say, "as big as Mandingo." Why not say, the same size as. That sentence structure makes Matt's cock compete with Mandingo. Therein lies the heart of this controversy. Our perspectives are seeking to make it a competition and in all competitions there must be winners and there must be losers. Personally, I love a person's flawless skin. Yes, that is shallow of me. But good skin it one of the first things I look for. Then we get into shades of skin tone. I love some of the darker shades on the men period. It don't matter if it is Latino, middleeastern, black, ect. That is not to say, that I wouldn't go for a white guy with great skin. I would and have. So we are now back to preferences. Thanks you all for letting me express myself. It helped me to have a healthier attitude toward my FWB friend that I suspect is a power bottom and into the subject of this topic. LOL!

The thing is, and I'm sure I'm not alone on this, most black males will see that and think "Oh here we go, one of these again" And will probably look for some racist undertone. It's sad but true, the moment I read that I thought it but carried on, it's just personal experience that leads me to think "Oh it's that line, what is it this time?". Just thought I'd throw that in, in regards to the first bolded part.
The second part, you're not really helping anything by calling it a sick fetish, obviously it'll offend someone and not just people who have the fetish but I'm sure some black males too. I wouldn't say it's a sick fetish, it's just a fetish that you don't understand and everyone has fetishes they don't understand so it's ok.
Thirdly and oddly enough, the guys I know who participate in this feel it's more of an exchange of power thing. You know, black guy can have anything he wants and the white man can't stop him kind of thing. If you read the Size Academy story currently going in the Fictitious Stories section then think of that but change the name to something like "Black Cock Academy" And you'll probably see the point a little clearer if you don't already.
So basically it just boils down to wording, I get your intentions and whatnot but it was slightly off putting reading that OP.

Firstly, to the first bolded part, I put that there for people who are overly sensitive, as I said, about anything race related. I didn't want this to turn into a thread about what it's not. It's not the easiest subject to bring up and I thought that was the most delicate way to do so.

Secondly, it's only a sick fetish to me because it's objectifying to black men. Anything that objectifies someone is sick to me. Sure, it's my opinion, sue me.

Thirdly, I don't see it as an exchange of power. And this is coming from a girl who loves power exchange being submissive. They're being used to fulfill a fantasy/fetish which relies on ideas which are either false, antiqued and/or wrong and at worse (as others have said as well) it's insulting and degrading to black men and men in general. The people who enjoy this I feel do so because they enjoy their perceived taboo on race and size and to me, that is ultimately racist on their part.

And for what it's worth, there's a big difference from getting off on a racially charged taboo and being attracted to men who are black. I realize some have posted saying they love black men. I do too. That's why this type of obsession/taboo/fantasy bothers and confuses me.

As someone who has a "BC" that isn't necessarily "B," I have to agree with this. I wouldn't want any expectations about the size of my cock based on my race. That being said, a lot of interracial porn perpetuates these ideas, so there's not a lot that can be done about it.

White men feeling submissive to black men does come from a taboo, but I think it has less to do with cock size and more to do with white culture being terrified of black sexuality. I'm not accusing anyone on this forum of anything (you all seem like fairly open-minded people), but for hundreds of years many parts of American culture have held onto the belief that black men are sexually aggressive. The (false) idea that black men are more sexually aggressive than white men creates a fear that black men are going to go after white women. And God forbid white women are attracted to black men because of whatever stereotypes of athleticism, sexual prowess, etc. Therefore, I might argue that fascination with BBC is actually based more in an ungrounded inferiority complex and fear of losing white women than anything else. Some people turn this into a fetish, some people because racist.

I know this is kind of out there. Just a theory. Agree or disagree?

Sounds like a very reasonable explanation, actually. :)

Oh ok I see where your getting at now as far as objectification that is weird, now I understand what you mean slot of people who participate in this BBC taboo fetish thing are women who probably wouldnt date black men or married women who always wanted to sleep with a black guy. I myself will never be someones experiment (or hope not), but people like to try what they see in porn that weirds me out to..

I guess not. More than anything else, this seems like an American issue.

Totally disagree. There is racism everywhere, South Africa, UK, India, Canada, just to name a few with histories of racism. And this BBC thing is not just an American 'issue'. I've seen plenty of other people from other countries into this.

You really hate America, don't you? You seem to hate on them all the time.

Yep, but it was BWD, big white dick, in Asia. I don't think that any of us who are not from the US will ever get our heads around their race issues.
Living in Europe and the US, I concur. Unlike the US, here BBC is not a big deal. I have discussed this and the Brits don't get it.

Fleur, it was gutsy making this post. Congrats! And I'm SHOCKED it has stayed as above the board as it has.

That being said, I try not to judge people's kink, and I don't see how this is any different then any other fetish. When you start judging the consensual relationships of others: in the words of Mr. Mackey, "Mmm, that's bad."

I don't think there is much of a point in discussing this.

It's about fantasy and sexual fantasy. Some people have fetishes, and however you try to find some sense in this you can't.
Some people are attracted to black people or sometimes more specifically their cocks, just as some people are into asians, or arabs, or caucasians.

Are black cocks bigger than white ones in average? I don't think it matters. It's a matter of perception and fantasy.
