1979 VW Microbus with the 2.0L Porsche engine... last year before they switched the Vanagon. I don't drive it much. It sits in the garage and looks pretty.

I once owned a Triumph Dolomite Sprint. We nicknamed it the Triumph Dolomite Start.

Currently drive a new Mercedes-Benz 2016 GLE 350d coupe, and before that, a 2010 E350 coupe. Both are such beautifully designed cars, I feel sure they will become design icons in the future.

Iconic? Or merely weird? (actually, "too long" in remote storage, so sold to someone who would get it out more often). Same with the 1951 Frazer Vagabond (early "hatchback" with sedan-looking car, rear opened "clamshell" with tailgate dropping and upper lifting giving huge trunkspace with rear "innerspring" seat folded. Henry J had NO trunk (access interior reaching over back seat, which could fold flat).
