Well ostensibly it's about homosexuality but have you posted anything about homosexuality and dudes fucking dudes and the Christian bible? The floor seems open.
You literally just quoted my post about the Christian Bible's position on "working out your own salvation," so I'm really lost as to what you're looking for. lol Are you wanting to ask me a direct question about my belief system or chosen faith (although I've also already addressed that in this thread)? You're far too intelligent for me so, please dumb it down...what is it you're asking me?

Yep churches have expenses, budgets and payroll that the preachers don't mention to the parishioners. God and Jesus will not make up the difference. They know they need more rubes to pay into the kitty to keep the lights on and church workers from living on the streets. Jesus won't be putting cash in your bank account so you can have food, clothing and shelter. Now the devil(capitalism) can do that for you and as such it's not wonder the devil rules the planet not God.

The whole "created in His image" is just a transparent attempt by humans to grant themselves godlike status. Kinda of like how we had the whole universe rotating around Earth as the center. On it's face it's wildly incredulous knowing what we know now. You mean god is a carbon based life form that lives forever and has very non-human magical powers, knowledge and is invisible? But we are told no that's no what it means but instead we are "above" animals whatever that means. Humans are the worst animals on the planet by far.
But yes if god created everything that means everything gay, straight, pan, bi, whatever in the animal kingdom too but God is pretty obsessed with only humanity and who they are having sex with. The animal kingdom pretty much has free reign to screw and do whatever they want. They don't sin or have a hell to worry about all their lives until death. They don't have to worship anything or tithe. Sounds pretty sweet if you ask me. My dog has a pretty good life now having to worry about those worrisome Top Ten Commandments and burning forever in hell.

Which, unironically, is why I understand why certain "knowledge" has not been given (or revealed) to humans. They seem fundamentally ill-equipped to possess and wield it. We've caused nothing but destruction since the industrial revolution and have only sought to further our perception of control over creation and dominance over one another. If there were a god - of any religious tradition - I completely understand why they might be supremely cautious over what they reveal to mankind. There's a reason Prometheus was warned against giving the gods' fire to man. Their arrogance and pride made them unsuitable. In reality, every iterative advancement in science and technology has only served to devolve man into a lesser state of humanness. We've only gotten more arrogant, deceitful, greedy, and immoral. Why, on god's green earth, would he give them MORE knowledge? lol
