This question is directed to those women who are currently experiencing menopause, or have already undergone the “change in life”: What changes, if any, have you observed in your sex drive and in the quality of your orgasm?
I was single during ‘the change’, but dating. My ability to be aroused was still really good. I’d say overall my libido is lower, but since I started off really, really high I’m probably normal now! I have no issues with lubrication or orgasm. I actually kind of love being post menopausal. Lots of freedom!
Just not being tied to my period and hormones anymore. No more period related migraines, no more tampons, or ugly underwear. It’s just liberating. I guess there’s also freedom from pregnancy, but being celibate, that’s not a concern anyway. I travel quite a bit, so I don’t have to plan ahead or count days. It’s just freedom from the biological clock.
