This just isn't true. It only approaches true if you add the proviso that the woman in question will be satisfied with any ol' cock regardless of what kind of a man it is attached to. I have at least one piece of anecdotal evidence that counters that, my own marriage. My ex lied about his past, added a list of partners that never existed - I don't know why, he wasn't a virgin (1 girlfriend), nor bad in bed, but he invented a string of casual encounters from his college days that never happened. When he finally came clean about that my first thought was that, had I known that he had absolutely no handle on what casual sex was about, I would have been a hell of a lot less likely to get into a serious relationship with him.

Also, I know 2 couples who were first loves, lost their virginity together, stayed together, married, kids, the works - the male partner of both couples decided (one in his 40s, one in his 50s) that going through life with just one partner was missing out - so they embarked on affairs, just short ones, to see what being with another woman was like. Neither marriage failed as a result, but the wives were very, very hurt and both expressed a wish that their husbands had done the 'other woman' experience before the relationship started, or at least before marriage. They also expressed regret at not having had other partners themselves, though as far as I know neither of them went on to have affairs.
