Why Tyler specifically
Well this is interesting… Tyler doesn’t appear on the Purdue diving roster for this year…

Could be… not like he was the most studious, transitioning from homeschooling (because of diving) to a major university must be tough, but student athletes, especially of his caliber are given so many resources including academic advisors that make it really really hard to completely fall off course, but it’s possible.
He could also have been suspended or kicked off for ethics or team conduct violations. Or he decided on his own for personal reasons not to participate year, but that would be pretty hard to believe after he crushed it last year at most of his NCAA events… plus if it was voluntary, I’d still think they’d allow him access to the Purdue facilities, but he’s been diving recently at an outdoor pool.
Hope the best for him and hope it’s temporary.. maybe someone will know the real tea.
It does seem strange. And I hope the best for him as well.
Tyler is still listed in the school directory and a photo of him on IG shows he was at the Purdue football game.

Yeah I don’t think anyones questioning if he still goes to the school. Just if he’s diving for them this year
