I remember watching an American stand-up comedienne who said, "At the tender age of eighteen, I finally lost my virginity ... after having misplaced it several times before."

Well, there are idioms, and then there are idiots.

What I hate are tautologies like "weapons of mass destruction" (Duhh . . . That's what weapons are for.) and "* in color" (as opposed to red in size?). Or just plain political correctness like "vertically challenged", "womyn", and "homicide bomber".

Ya know, I keep misplacing mine. It is not like it's sewed on.

I went to an all-male prep school and was seduced by the wife of a visiting teacher who had clandestinely watched me (and some of the other boys) when I took my showers in the basement of the dorm house I lived in.

An all-male prep school and you lost your virginity to a female? Wow, that is a story. Of course, that had to embarrass your teacher, much like the whole L'Affaire du Letourneau embarrassed her husband.

iwfuutaudls: damn. all male prep school, teachers wife. damn. the only thing that would make that better is if you fucked the mature slut in her ass. hahaha.

Hey don't feel bad Altairion, I'm 24 and still a virgin. I have had opportunities but it just never felt right. At this point I might wait until marriage, because like Altairion said if I've gone this long, I'm not just gonna do with anybody. I want it to be worth while.

According to Sue Johanson on an episode of Talk Sex, loss of virginity only takes place when a penis enters a vagina. The caller specifically asked about gay men. She said, "It doesn't matter. If two gay men are having sex with each other but have never engaged in sex with a woman, they are technically virgins. Sexually active, yes, but still virgins. No penis + vagina = virginity." So, I'm still a virgin. :eyes:

Well, classic virginity is determined solely by the presence of the hymen, or, if male virginity matters, the adhesion of the foreskin to the glans. Male virginity isn't as important as female virginity in most societies; you don't see many Pakistani men being executed over it. But then again, by definition with the aforementioned virginity tests, most Muslim men aren't virgins anyway. It isn't fitrah.

A couple of years ago, I saw an interview on the tube on Afghanistan during the time of the Taliban. Apparently, they had mullahs [virginity police] whose job it was to go around and determine if unmarried males were virgin. How? By studying the stream of piss as it emerges and then hits the ground. Apparently, virgins shoot straight, pure streams.

If I were a songwriter, I might pen "Piss for Me, Dude" and dedicate it to the youth of Afghanistan.

Actually, I did.

Blueeyes: Actually, Talk Sex is a pretty informative show. Sue talks very candidly about things that most people have a hard time discussing. She is educted in her answers and never makes a statement that isn't backed by her education. If so, she quickly will say..."this is only my opinion, but..." So she isn't a twit.

She is also quite hilarious and uses wooden props, so it makes for pretty good late night TV. She answers all sorts of quetions from how to give good head, to how to tell if you have an STD...etc. Watch sometime...then you can form a bit more educated of a statement about her.

She also never says anything judgemental, but tries to give advice when needed, like a 15 year old who called in about having sex with her 37 year old boyfriend...good show!

Dr. Dilznick,

I'd say your 'losing it' at 27 was a whole lot healthier than losing it pre-pubertity.
At least you were an adult! It is 'right' when it is 'right'.

Let's just say I'm glad my days as a virgin are over, and not just because of the great sex. You know, it's considered a passage into manhood. The longer into (or in my case- past) your adolescence it takes, the more ridicule you get for being a child, or unable to do the deed.

I think for most women the "peer" factor isn't as great.

Well, if women have sex early, they're called sluts. For some reason, "stud" doesn't have the same effect as "whore", even though a stud is quite literally a male whore. A male horse whore. LOL

That's hilarious! Gives a whole new meaning to "stud fee"- animal prostitution!

Dr. D,

That can be true, if they know that you are still a virgin. :D

I originally thought I wouldn't have sex before I married. Time went by and eventually it happened (another story in another thread). I now have no regrets that I didn't make it until marriage, because I would still be a virgin today. :(
