We need a new dating app!

I’ve been thinking about this idea for a while and I’m surprised it hasn’t been created yet. I have no tech skill so I know I can’t make it.

But the idea would be that it’s a dating app somewhere between Grindr and Bumble. So not just for hookups, but also not just for dating. Tinder is weird because people use that for either/or not both at the same time.

Here’s what I’m thinking: You would put all the usual info in; profile pictures, age, height, weight, general location, sexuality, etc. but what sets this app apart would be that when you make your profile you need to provide your accurate measurements and back it up with a measurement pic (including your username hand written to verify your profile just like being verified on LPSG).

That picture and info would be hidden from public view and only unlocked after you match with someone. There would still be usual filter features, but there would be a special filter included, a “7 inch and up” filter, but you wouldn’t know who has what sizes until after you match, you’d only know they are at least 7 inches. So really you’re still matching with people based on their interests and personalities, etc. but you can also guarantee you’re dating someone who has a bigger than average size.

Idk, I really think it’s a good idea but I’m probably biased haha. What do all of you think?

I don't disagree about that, but any time we've looked into it the system lag to pull the results takes 10 mins and almost crashes the site. Forum software just isnt built at the base level for that.

Have you guys considered creating a partner platform that would be able to support stuff like that? Our profiles here would be compatible there too, maybe even incorporate live video/audio chat rooms? That would be so cool

I think it’s a great idea. I’m an average sized guy that would very much like to match with someone hung who prefers to be with someone average. So it would be great if guys could also search for average because we like to feel like we got lucky to have the dicks that we have. It’s not all about hung guys

Sounds like a great idea. In my opinion Grindr has become almost useless if you don't pay. You can only contact a couple of guys and they aren't even close. Before there was a good app on windows phone named MeetM, but long ago gone with WP too. I haven't found any other good app.

Let's make a very open app that allows people to filter for free. Also there must be a grid option and a tap profile option (both free with some limits that aren't excessive - for instance allowing as much as 200 free grid profiles in cities and towns under 2M people). The premium version of the app must include exclusive perks like specific filters, and it should include social media features like "friending" mutual favorites and other options like creating events

What are your ideas? - brainstorm please

Yeah. I go back and forth to Grindr every so often, but only because there really isn’t a great alternative to it. And like you said, Grindr really sucks anymore haha

1. I don’t think the premium side of the app should price gouge people. It should be affordable for pretty much everyone, it shouldn’t cost more a month than the average OF subscription ($9.99).
2. It should be relatively SFW enough that a large amount of people feel comfortable joining.
3. The verification process should be relatively simple, but also be practically impossible to fake. I guess two pictures should be required, one picture next to an object that is ubiquitous and whose dimensions are uniform (a bottle or can for instance) and the second pic should be the ruler or tape measure pic.
4. Verification needs to be a requirement for this app, otherwise what’s the point haha.

Can we just make sure it doesn’t discriminate against guys that aren’t hung? I tried to join sevenorbetter but because I have less than 7 inches they wouldn’t let me join. And they even let women join so really the only demographic they discriminate against are guys that are under 7 inches. What a horrible way to make guys feel worse about the size of dick they were given (which they already feel bad about)

Smaller guys like big dicks too. And there are big dicks that like average dicks, so there is no reason for us to be discriminated against.

My suggestion: Just allow folks to filter dick size per a range. They can set the low and high numbers or…no filter at all if they don’t care

And for goodness sake don’t call it something like 7orbetter. That’s telling most men they are worse. And we know we’re worse and would be happier if we were born hung. But we don’t need to be insulted.

7orbigger would be more appropriate
