Not everyone can lose weight like you did. Although you're 27, your reply is very immature and self-serving to me. I will not elaborate on my thoughts for you except to say that as you grow older weight becomes harder to work off. Enjoy it while you can.
I don't think he meant humans who suffer from gravity and a slowed metabolism were pigs, but excessively overweight people (more than 15 to 20 lbs I'd say). And this is true because age and metabolism can account for those extra 20 pounds you start carrying around after 40, but not before then, and it certainly doesn't excuse 220lb men under six feet tall. That's fucking gross. It also (and being formerly pudgy I know this myself to be almost 100% true) is indicative of a lot less self-confidence, self-control and will power.
That aside, getting older isn't always indicative of gaining weight. There are plenty of people who maintain a HEALTHY weight (not perfect youthful form, that's a different) until the day they die, simply by eating and exercising proportionately.
Long story short, I might date a dude with a thicker build (not my preference), if the chemistry was right, but not one who was physically unfit, because we wouldn't have too much in common to do.
