Well that's fascinating. I wonder how someone can get to that point where they have no issue being circumcised. Because when I look at myself, I do see a scar, and I wonder how to get past that.
Only you can choose that... since I never had a problem with it growing up. I don't have a problem with it growing old. You can see my pictures and decide what you see. Only you can choose how you deal with it. I didn't have too. Never an issue for me.

I hadn't see that comment before. OK. Now I am almost sure he is a troll.

"They'll see my scarred genitals and be disgusted by me."

That is a troll comment. I never even read of a person disgusted by a cut dick. That thought is a call for attention.
Just because someone brings up an issue you've never heard of, that must mean they're trolling?

People have blocked me on dating apps when I've revealed that I'm circumcised. Now you've read about it. Now what?

I think there’ve been plenty of constructive comments in this thread. Ultimately it’s a matter of personal perception. Not being able to get past it is not much different from someone not being able to get past the fact that they are short or are not happy with how their face looks. I think it’s futile at this point to focus on circumcision itself and instead it might be worth consulting a trained mental health specialist.

I'm not trying to down play how you may feel. I don't understand why you given so much control and power over this issue. There are millions and millions of men cut.. When I read that someone block you...I get the feeling it isn't over being cut. There something more to that story.

these threads always end up with those of us who are willing to say we don't have a problem with having been circumcised being attacked and basically accused of everything short of genocide! I don't get it!
Yeah, I know and I don't get that... because I'm sure there are many men that are happy then not. I'm not going to apologize or blame my parents over something I had no control over. As far as I am concerned.. it was the way I was born. It just life..

Actually there is not much more to the story. He messaged me and said "hi," I looked at his profile where he wrote that he prefered uncut guys, so I responded saying "hi" back and then I said "by the way I'm cut" and then he blocked me. Makes me think people will reject me when they find out I'm circumcised.

Mate, telling someone you are cut (or have a big beautiful foreskin for what is worth) as a conversation starter is pretty fucking weird. I very much doubt that guy actually cared about your cut cock. Rather, you just made a very random statement that likely freaked him out. I never bring it up unless asked and no one got freaked out (quite the opposite) and I live in a place where being cut, while not unheard of, is quite uncommon.

See it had nothing to do with you be circumcised. They did even see your cock. People don't care if you are cut or not when in a relationship. You just need to choose different words to describe your dick. Stop choosing words that put you down.

I only mentioned that I'm cut because he expressed he was only interested in uncut cock in his profile. He must have been expecting to hear about the type of penis belonging to the person he started a conversation with. And besides, blocking someone for merely starting a conversation awkwardly would not make sense.

They probably blocked you because you were the weird guy talking about circumcision on a dating app.

No, that can't be it because this person who blocked me literally wrote in their bio that they were only interesed in uncut guys. So revealing to him whether I was cut or uncut was perfectly relevant information to share with him.

I was cut at 10 because of a tight foreskin. I didn't notice it too much at first but around the age of 15, I started sending nudes to other people and I got curious. I ended up becoming severely depressed about it, and I decided not to look at my dicks for over two and half years. I would always shower with the lights off and would never look down, pee with my shirt pulled forward to block my view (I mastered my aim), and jerk off under my duvet.

I'm still not happy with myself, and sometimes I can't look down there. I wish I could feel better about myself, but I feel like damaged goods. No frenulum, no inner foreskin either. It simply looks sad to me.

My other issue is that I'm seeing someone who is uncut, and I get very sad whenever we do sexual things. I really like him, but it feels like mental torture sometimes to see someone with the only thing you can't have.

I'm tired of being sad though, and I want to move forward from this decade long depression. Foregen seems to be my only hope, but I can't wait around any longer.

If any of you overcame this, what made you accept it in the end? Was there anything that helped you feel more comfortable about it?

Exactly. I don't like uncut cocks because they smell and are very filthy. I was cut as a adult and really enjoy being cut.
