In my opinion he is the handsomest male individual* on Earth – probably in history! Although he seems unaware of that, otherwise he wouldn’t ruin his Apollonian face with overlay text :triumph:.
* Please note I didn’t write “man” on purpose – I have still to decide whether he is a superman or an angel.
Jack Baron (36).jpg

As for perfection I have to disagree, because even if he has the most aesthetic upper body among natural** trainers, his legs don’t match the aesthetic marvel of the upper body. Don’t get me wrong, they aren’t bad, just not as excellent as they could be with more training (you may notice that he never posted a leg workout video).
** I believe he is natural as he says.
Jack Baron (9).jpg

Surely he is aware of that, because he is wary to show them, and even at the beach he wears horrible black shorts instead of swim trunks (he gets sistematically some negative comments when he does that, but he ignores them).

Anyway, he is one of the most serious fitness influencers on IG. By “serious” I mean he is really dedicated to sculpting his body (his motto is “bringing back aesthetics”), not just to getting many likes on IG with silly reels that look like thirst traps. He even published a “Guide on aesthetics”, which is a commendable task, although I’d be surprised if twelve people have bought it (he sells it at £30).

But I’m happy he has still room for improvement, I want to see if he “walks the talk” and develops beautiful legs – at his height of 194 cm he would appear magnificent with big legs. And of course I want to see what he wants to do next; for now, he seems stuck at posting endless variations of the same shirtless posing reel. However, he did some little modeling gig:
Jack Baron (5).jpg

So I strongly hope he wants to become a fitness model . With a lower body that matches is upper and if he shaves hig legs and armpits, he could become the next Dan Khan. Or he can decide to become a bodybuilder: with his elite genetics and awesome mesomorph physique, he could be the tallest, biggest and most aesthetic bodybuilder on stage :dizzy:. Although I understand that for now he doesn’t want to hop on gear; will he resist to the call of the dark side ?

Besides that, surely you have noticed that he travels a lot: recently he has been to Ohio, New York, Puerto Rico, Florida (maybe I’m missing some location). Considering that he lives in UK and his only job qualification is diplomed electrician, I wonder where he gets all the money needed for these expensive travels, made with no clearly stated purpose. Surely not from the Gymshark sponsorship. Any thought?

oh thanks for your take, i thought he was American for some reason lol. but damn that is tall!!!

In his YT videos he is driving a car with driver’s seat on the right, so he must be British. (If you haven’t watched them yet, here is the handle of his channel: @jackbaronfitness).

About the height, I deduce it from the comparison with Matis Mallie, who claims to be that tall: they were together at a Gymshark event and they looked the same height (but Jack is probably 20 kg heavier than Matis). Jack states it in the less precise imperial units as 6′4″, which can be from 193 to 195 cm.
As you may know, tall trainers have more difficulty at appearing jacked, because what matters in aesthetics are proportions and tall people need to be “wider” than short people to look as ripped as them. This article explains well why tall bodybuilders are disadvantaged.
Anyway, a superman like Jack can overcome any obstacle, if he puts his mind on it. He appears genuinely serious about training on IG, although he sometimes comes out with idiotic statements like this one:
work_h.jpg

Even if he said it in jest, it isn’t funny. I also noticed that he stopped interacting with comments on his recent posts; this month they received less likes than in the past – is he getting already despondent of social media? (The number of his followers never skyrocketed, while other influencers are well above 100k with worse content .)

I forgot to mention that he has been in the Death Valley and in Italy, too.

Some pictures from a photoshoot he did for a gym where he trains. Not clear if this was a paid assignment or a favour to the management of the gym; hopefully at least he got a free membership in return :joy:.

Dang it, if I were a gym manager in the Liverpool area I would pay him to train in my gym; that would be a major boon to attract more clients. But apparently he is satified with the sponsorship by Gymshark, even if Gymshark notoriously pays a pittance, plus travel expenses to their events (to be clear: not all his travels are for sponsored events).

Be aware that he has the bad habit of deleting posts (even recent ones) for no clear reason (maybe those that got fewer likes?). See below the comparison of two screenshots of his IG account; they were taken a couple of days apart, I circled the deleted posts.

So, if you want to preserve content you like, you better save a copy in your local hard disc, or you risk losing it for good.

The dear Jack should take a refresh in basic mathematics: look at how he wrote “lower than ten percent” :emoji_face_palm: (the correct formula is <10%).
bodyfat_poll.jpg

Btw, he didn’t post the correct answer after the end of the poll, not exactly a smart move : unamused:.

I was watching some posing reels of Jack and I realized he hits a recurring set of poses, so I decided to make a commented retrospective of his posing routines. If you want to know the tl;dr version of my opinion, click on the spoiler below, otherwise keep scrolling down. I hope you’ll enjoy my comments; surely you’ll enjoy the photos.
He is very amateurish in his posing routines; some poses are mimicked from the official bodybuilding poses, others are invented by him and don’t showcase his physique properly. Moreover, he is limited by the fact that he shows only the upper body.
Let’s go from older to more recent posing reels.
JBs_1.jpg

1) This isn’t an official bodybuilding pose, however it looks similar to a “front lat spread”, but he is using only his left arm and the slanted position of the torso doesn’t allow to check the symmetry properly.
2) Ok, this is a classic “front double biceps”, the position is correct.
3) This is a non-existing pose, let’s call it “single biceps” – not really useful to show anything more than the preceding pose.
4) This is a “rear lat spread”, but the position of the arms isn’t correct (the fists should press on the hips) – his back muscle look less defined than the front ones (not clear if this is due to the incorrect posing).
5) Again a front double biceps, this is so simple he cannot do it wrong.
6) This is unconventional, it can be compared with the “abdominals and thighs” – except that he is showing no thigh . Moreover, in the official pose the torso is contracted to emphasize the abs. Not a good one.
7) Relaxed pose, he could keep the arms farther from the torso to “flare out” his lats, but it isn’t fundamental.
8) This should be a “most muscular” pose, which is reserved to the largest bodybuilders in the Open category. He isn’t big enough for this one, and moreover the position of the arms and shoulder is incorrect. Disappointing.
9) Again a front pose with slanted torso, not a good perspective.

JBs_2.jpg

1) Completely unconventional pose, not meaningful.
2) Single biceps, this is sometimes seen in free posing routines. Fair.
3) This is one of the weird poses he made up, its usefulness is unclear: which muscular group is he trying to emphasize here? Not arms, not abs or pecs, maybe one lat? But apparently he is fond of this one.
4) He really likes to pose in an oblique position .
5) Another weird one; which is the purpose of slanting back the head: does he want to show his neck muscles :joy:?
6) Ok, front double biceps, he cannot miss this one.
7) I give up trying to name this one.
8) Maybe one day he’ll learn to do this one with both fists on his hips :emoji_rolling_eyes:.
9) This is too strange to comment – it doesn’t exist in any official posing routine.
10) Ah ok, with the palm of the hand stretched open it’s all another thing :grinning:.

JBs_3.jpg

1) This time also the camera is titled, not only his torso :joy:.
2) Another “abs no thighs”.
3) Another “front lat spread” with only one hand :emoji_rolling_eyes:.
4) Ahh, so he knows how to do it correctly .
5) He isn’t big enough for this one, but I appreciate the effort.
6) A double biceps with oversize trousers.
7) This is one of the rare occasions when he shows his legs. A more or less correct execution of “abs and thighs” (more abs than thighs).
8) A mixture of front lat spread and front double biceps. Surely he is imaginative.
9) His back muscles aren’t fully developed, but he has an impressive V-taper.

JBs_4.jpg

1) This is the only occasion when he tried to do a “side triceps” – with unconvincing result.
2) When he is looking outside the frame, it’s a sign he is checking his smartphone on a fixed support during the recording.
3) Another pose he invented.
4) With a single hand it’s unconventional.
5) At least this one is correct.
6) Another abs and thighs, poorly performed. (If he doesn’t bend his torso forward, the abs don’t pop out.)
7) Ok, nothing to tell about this one.
8) I’d call this one “how to get pneumonia while posing under pouring rain”.
9) Why is he stretching the torso backward? If he wants to show the flat belly, there is the vacuum pose for that purpose.

JBs_5.jpg

1) I still don’t understand the meaning of this pose. The poses should emphasize simmetry, so doing it with different positions of the arms isn’t useful.
2) He must really like this one :joy:.
3) Abs no thighs again.
4) With a scowling face, the pose is much better ;).
5) This isn’t the way to do the most muscular correctly!
6) A rare “side chest”. Fair.

JBs_6.jpg

1) I insert this one for the expression of the face.
2) I was worried that he wouldn’t do his “signature pose”, but here it is.
3) Keep trying to do the most muscular :grinning:.
4-5) As you see here, if you stretch the torso backward, the abs don’t show up :emoji_rolling_eyes:.
6) Zoom too close, sorry.
7) Probably his best rear lat spread.
8) Did he forget his shoes somewhere ?

JBs_7.jpg

1) Nice vascular arms.
2-3) If he tilts backward a little more, he is going to fall :D.
4) Another side chest. Good one.
5) I hope he doesn’t hurt himself while posing.
6) He can’t help doing his signature pose.
7) Apparently, posing with straight torso is too conventional for him.
8) What is this one, abs caressing ?
9) It looks like he is praying here.
10) Most muscular à la Jack as an ending.

Although it’s clear that he doesn’t mean to do a complete posing routine according to the official rules of bodybuilding, he seems to be improvising often. Some poses are clearly invented, but they don’t appear to serve any meaningful purpose of showcasing muscles.
Moreover, he is limited by the fact that he shows only the upper body (except in rare cases), and this reduces the available poses and their effectiveness in the execution. I think that he has a lot to improve; a well performed posing routine (with better legs) would really be a game changer to properly present the aesthetics of his physique.

Is it my impression or he looks bigger in his last YT video?
img1.jpg

And he is even showing legs in close-up!
img2.jpg

Also his posing technique seems to have improved: this is a good side triceps :emoji_ok_hand:.
img3.jpg

I suspect that his last IG content wasn’t actually recent, but footage he had in storage and used as a filler while he was preparing his “next version” and the related new material. Indeed, the IG content in the past few months seemed kind of thrown at random without a real pattern; probably his aim was just to keep the account active*. If my theory is correct, the travels he mentioned on IG weren’t made in such a short timespan as it appears from the date of the posts.
* Also his “body fat poll” was just a ruse to attract attention IMO. I’m sure he hasn’t actually measured his body fat percentage; a precise measure is available only in specialized medical facilities and is expensive. However, he could have played it smart by posting his estimation, as other trainers do.

He announced that he will publish more frequently on YT (until now, he hasn’t been a regular youtuber), so stay tuned!
