Shaven men: Yay or nay?

Just wondering, I have read a fair amount of stuff on the opposite side of the coin, but never anything about whether women prefer a man shaven or not.

It looks bloody awful when men completely shave their genitals.

I think if a guy has an obscene amount of hair down there it needs to be trimmed not so much shaved at least keep it clean, and i am sure it is likewise for you guys with the girls you need to keep your junk clean and looking good nobody wants Ms.Puss to look like a jungle, and i do not want to see the same when a guy pulls down his pants... I shave ocassionally but keep it trimmed at least. I like the smooth skin after shaving.

I like for my man to be shaved as he now is. I never thought about it one way or another, but,now I like the way he doesn't "stink" so bad when he sweats down there.Don't get me wrong, I like the way my man smells when he comes from work (kind of diesal-y!) But, there isn't that "funky", nasty

The historical convention is that it's acceptable for men to be unshaven in the pubic region. If a man is single, then I think it's acceptable to stick with convention. If you have a partner or seriously desire a partner, I think it's important to shave -- it's out of consideration for the other person. One's partner really shouldn't have to deal with tufts of fur . And yes, a man can still be a man and be shaven!

To each their own HotBulge, but I'd be really turned off if a lover dropped his pants and was as smooth as a babies bottom. But that's all down to aesthetic preference, I like my men macho and rugged. I just don't think there's anything rugged about a bloke with totally shaved genitals - particulary if he's pale skinned. Last turkey in the shop on christmas eve and all that...

Honestly a man doesn't have to shave it all, but it is not like it is not a manly thing to trim it and still be macho, what female wants all that nappy hair all up in there mouth when they are giving a guy a BJ.. So to you guys that shave it all i give you two thumbs up for caring about your hygeine and just cause you shave doesn't make you any less of a man...

I don't mind it trimmed - that was what I voted for. I just don't like it all off. And lack of hair doesn't make for a more hygienic penis..... soap does.

Hi! As man i like to have it trimmed - almost like shaved. My penis look a lot bigger without a lot of hair spreading around and the girl doesn´t have to get hair in her mouth when she sucks the "thing" ;-)

One ex shaved it all of once for a bit or a change/joke. He was happy when i told him to never do it again.

And Anaconda..Chest hair im not fond of but would hate it shaved off and also a snail trail is a very, very good thing

I'm with you 100%. The shaved look is just too infantile and unnatural for me. Grooming is good. Trimming is good. But there's something sexy about having some pubes. I'm all about keeping the secondary sexual characteristics.

i shave only my balls and shaft - more in summer. the rest usually trim, or trim very very shortly

I like pubic hair on a man, if it's trimmed and not out of control. That said, I prefer the balls to be shaved. They are so much nicer to lick. Also, according to my husband, the licking feels much nicer to him when they are shaved.
