What do you want most in a man?

Without giving any leading clues, I'd like the women here to tell me what is most important in the men they choose as a partner.

Kindness.

Overlooked and too often taken advantage of. Is an attribute I seek out in all the folks in my life.

I specify kindness in men cuz messed up people might shame a dude for expressing kindness. Same with gentleness. Maybe skew both toward feminine attributes, negatively so in their esteem. But, nah, the strength to display kindness/compassion/gentleness. Balls of fucking steel. Backbone to match.

Tenderness, masculinity (not the macho way, I mean: protective attitude, leadership), good modals, companionship. It's a combo.

A person who doesn’t ask others to do for them, who doesn’t create mental and emotional workloads.
Who doesn’t expect their partner to be The Management.
