This argument is just dragging on. You're right in what you say. I believe this is what was originally meant.

However, it's not just Dominicans of African descent with the anti-black mindset. Puerto Rico and South American countries can be included.

No ones skin is actually black. If they're distancing for that reason, no problem. If they're distancing because they feel they're better than "black" people then that's a problem they'll eventually have to deal with.
